The “exploring new flavors” Bento

Tiny princess A & tiny princess K’s lunch. 9/17/12

On this day both of my tiny princesses had identical lunches. This rarely happens. Their little taste buds are just too different from one another making packing lunches a tad on the hard side for this mom of royalty!

  • Leftover 7-up marinade chicken. TDF!! Seriously, my girls ate this up! Check out the ahhhhmazig recipe HERE. I was a bit skeptical about the horseradish, but decided to add it, (even extra than needed) anyway.  Guess what? My super picky tiny princesses declared this, “THE BEST CHICKEN EVER!!!!”
  • Sauce container with ketchup for dipping, though both tiny princesses agreed this was completely unnecessary.
  • String cheese chunks
  • Vanilla yogurt with crunch berries cereal sprinkles
  • Extra crunch berries for munching or crushing
  • Roasted chick peas. Find the recipe HERE. We used taco seasoning for ours. My husband and I found them delicious. My tiny princesses? Well, lets just say they tolerated them to make their mommy happy. ;) My guess is these won’t make it into our lunch boxes again.
  • Cheddar peanut butter crackers

Packed in Sassy Baby feeding sets. It’s amazing how much great stuff you can fit into such a little lunch container. :)
